Introduction
Williams Hamilton Juris Consult organized its second training of 2019 at the Ubumwe Grande Hotel, Kigali between the 30th September to the 2nd of October,2019
Summary
The training was facilitated by Hon. Justice Kashim Zannah, Prof. Bolaji Owonasonye and Hon. Justice A. Ipaye. The topics were arranged alternating trainers to keep it interesting and have the participants interacting with the class also with some videos and graphics to keep attention. There were a range of topics covered such as Fast tracking Case Flow and Management Systems, performance evaluation, monitoring and indicators for progress, discussions on the administrative and ecosystem angles then case study done on Civil vs Criminal Case tracking Systems. The training had nine (9) participants. Certificates of participation were presented on the final day by after which the group was taken on a bus tour of Kigali.
Conclusion
The session gave the delegates the opportunity to network, meet colleagues from different states and jurisdictions as well as exchange experiences. There was a lot of feedback given and discussions done sometimes going on for an hour after the
training sessions were over. Group photographs were taken and review forms filled by the delegates on the final day.
